A historical place with an interesting old center dated before XIV century where various cultural events take place. Kumpanjija is a complex dance with swords, performed to the sound of mišnjica (a type of bagpipe) and the performance is honoring the brave men of Blato who stood against the attackers that were invading Blato many centuries ago. A long linden tree alley is also a symbol of Blato, with shades of linden trees making it a great place for a walk. A centuries long winemaking tradition shaped various wine varieties that can be tasted in a local wine tasting corner - a perfect spot to have a rest after an afternoon walk through Blato.
